Jacquelin Field

October 20, 1927 — April 16, 2021

Jacquie “Mom” was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, daughter of Vera and Larry Warner, raised in LaGrange, Illinois. She met and married Donald R. Field in 1948. Don “Dad” passed away in 1998. On their honeymoon, they moved to Denver, Colorado; later moving to Lakewood to raise their five girls – Connie (Ray), Peggy (Joe), Karen, Barbara, Janet (Ulrich). Mom had the good fortune of enjoying 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mom was a homemaker and a talented seamstress – making countless dresses for her girls, including square dance, prom, and wedding dresses. Mom also made patchwork Christmas stockings for each of her grandchildren. She spent her leisure time teaching Sunday school at Lakewood Methodist Church, playing bridge, being a Job’s Daughters mom, reading, cheering for the Colorado Rockies at the ballpark and on TV, doing jigsaw puzzles, traveling a bit, and enjoying life. “A Celebration of Life will be held at Rockland Community Church on Tuesday, October 26th at 2 p.m. Reception immediately following in Fellowship Hall. Masks are preferred. Her daughters would enjoy seeing colorful clothes in celebration of our mom. Thank you. Address: 17 South Mt. Vernon Country Club Road, Golden, Colorado; exit 254 off of I-70. Her family is extremely grateful to Rocky Mountain Assisted Living in Wheat Ridge for the loving care given to mom which allowed her to return “home” to RMAL under hospice care.” Donations can be made in her name to Rockland Community Church.
