March 30, 1924 - September 10, 2011 87 years of age, WWII Veteran, Lakewood Resident and member of Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Liz. Pre-deceased by Marge Willson. Survived by family Sax and Wendy Willson, Chuck and Adele Willson, Donna and Don McCaw; extended family Mark and Pam Carpenter, Jenny and Phil Barru; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren with two on the way! A viewing will take place Tuesday, September 13, 2011 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM at Malesich and Shirey Funeral Home located at 5701 Independence Street, Arvada, Colorado. Burial will take place Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11:15 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery (Denver, Colorado) with Honor Guard by the United States Navy. A memorial service will take place Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 5:00 PM at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church located at 11500 West 20th Avenue, Lakewood,Colorado
