Hugh "Mac" Alan Mccormick, Jr.

Born in Denver, Colorado,  July 24, 1930 to Dorothy and Hugh Sr. McCormick. Had an older sister Louise Trask who passed previously. Grew up in North Denver. Attended Skinner Junior High School and North High School. Worked for Elitch Gardens performing many job functions. Enlisted in the US Navy. Served in Korea. Returned home to Arvada, Colorado. Took a job at Millers Supermarkets in 1950. Worked for 45 years as a teamster. Company went through many acquisitions such as Millers-Del Farm,  National Tea, Kelly Douglas, and Super Valu. Raised four children.  Has 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren Cindy McCall,     Has one son James and one daughter Sharon (husband Michael Martinez, children Cassidy, Dustin, Dillion) Kathy Polly (husband Dale)   Has two sons Jason (wife Kathryn, son Logan), Joshua (wife Katie) Keith McCormick (wife Ronda)   Has 3 sons Andy (wife Caryn, children Abbi, Ella, Joey), Nick (wife Ellen, children Cyrus, Chloe, Claire), Dano (fiancé Val), 3 daughters Molly (husband Jim Lickly, children Mason, Lexi, Ayla, Mary), Beth (husband Jeff Carroll, children Anaiah, Alannah, Alijah), Leah (husband Anthony Rice) Scott McCormick Enjoyed several years as a local scout leader. Had a second career as a professional clown for 36 years. Enjoyed parades, parties, malls.  Taught college clown classes.  Member of Clowns of America, World Clowns, and Colorado Clowns where he served as president. Hugh retired in 1992.  Where he furthered his career as husband and grandfather and great grandfather. Hugh was proud of his home and yard. Looked forward to every spring to plant flowers and taking excellent care of his yard.  His home was always open to friends and family. Funeral 11:00AM, Monday, October 26th.  at Heritage Community Bible Church 5615 W. 64th. Ave. Arvada, CO.  Interment Arvada, Cemetery, Arvada, CO.
