Hazeline Ann Wilson 1949-2018 Hazeline Ann Wilson, 69, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away peacefully on Nov 3rd, 2018 from a complicated medical condition. Hazel was born on January 23rd, 1949. She married Herman H. Wilson on January 22nd, 1972. Hazel was a marvelous wife and mother. Cooking was one of her greatest joys and she was extremely gifted in the kitchen. She even co-wrote a cookbook with her fellow teachers. As an elementary school teacher for 25 years, Hazel adored children and teaching them. In the last few years of her life she returned to teaching preschoolers at the Susan M. Duncan YMCA. When she arrived home after a day of work she always wore a smile because of her love of educating children. Hazel is survived by her husband of 46 years, Herman, their two adopted children Joey and Kristy, and grandson Benjamin. A memorial held in Hazel’s honor on will take place on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 from 10:30am-12pm in the Community Room at the Susan M. Duncan YMCA in Arvada, Colorado. Hazel will be laid to rest in Honolulu Hawaii. At her request her ashes will be spread in Diamond Head, Hawaii, near the lighthouse where Herman had proposed to Hazel.
