August 16, 1928 - August 8, 2012 Harvey L. Ott was born in Casper, Wyoming on August 16, 1928 to Samuel George Ott and Olive June Castle Ott. He was the sixth of six children all of whom preceded him in death. His career was chemical engineering for over 30 years with Shell Chemical Company. He is survived by a son, David Bennet Ott who is a master black belt in Tae Kwon DO and step daughter Lynn Vielbaum. Preceded in death by step daughter Leslie Thengvall. Harvey was educated in Casper, Wyoming, Augustina Lutheran College in Illinois, and University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and skiing. He will be deeply missed by his son, nieces, nephews and many long time friends and colleagues. Services for Harvey will be held on Saturday, August 18 at Crossroads Church of Denver in Wheat Ridge, Colorado at 2 PM.
