November 23, 1965 - June 8, 2013 Gregory Allen Shaw, 47, of Westminster, Colorado, died Saturday, June 8, in Clear Creek County, Colorado. He was the son of Lyle Shaw and the late Patricia Shaw from Dix, Nebraska. Greg grew up in Dix, Nebraska and graduated from Dix High School in 1984. He recieved a B.S. in Computer Science from Colorado State University in 1989. Greg was married to Isabella Grossinger in 1992. Greg was a Senior Storage Engineer at Advanced Systems Group in Denver, Colorado. He had previously been employed at StorageTek, Sun Microsystems and Oracle. Greg was an avid snowboarder, motorcyclist and traveler. He went on 12 cruise trips with his wife and many snowboarding vacations. One of his best friends is Nybble the Jack Russell Terrier he lived with. Greg is survived by his wife, Isabella; his brother, Matthew Shaw of Kimball, Nebraska; his sister, Amy Markel of Lodgepole, Nebraska; and his father, Lyle of Dix, Nebraska. A service of remembrance will be held at 1 pm on Monday at the Crossroad Church of Denver's chapel, 9901 W 50th Avenue, Wheatridge, Colorado.
