Gloria Elaine Harris 1943-2019 Elaine was born in Trinidad, Colorado to Alfonso and Adelia Solis. Elaine is the 11th of 14 siblings. Elaine is survived by her brother Art Solis and sister’s Lillian Turner and Beverly Gonzales. Elaine was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest, Alfonso Jr., Richard, Edward, Gene, Donald and sister’s Margaret, Adelia, Viola and Mary. She is survived by her husband Harry Harris, daughters Carrie Rooney and Michelle Maltas. Son in laws Richard Rooney and Mikell Maltas. Five granddaughters Alexandria Rooney, Kristan Phillips, Samantha Rooney, Brittany Schofield, and Morgan Rouse. Grandson’s Josh Scofield, Adam Phillips, Jeritt Rouse, Riley Osborn, Nick Fletcher Five great Grandchildren Olivia, Carmen, Wyatt, Parker, Shea. Elaine was the most warm, giving and kind person to everyone she met. She had a quick wit that made us laugh and kept us on our toes. Her love for her family was never ending. Going to her home you were always treated like a guest. Homemade goodies and lots of hugs coming and going. Her advice wasn’t taken lightly as she was wise in so many ways. She was an attentive listener and we will miss her witty and beautiful personality and guiding light. She loved owls perhaps because she was our wisest friend.
