Glenn Depriest

September 6, 1934 - March 6, 2012 In Memory of Glenn DePriest September 6, 1934 - March 6, 2012 Glenn Depriest of Del Norte, CO passed away Tuesday March 6, 2012 in Thornton, CO. A native of Norton, VA, Glenn was the son of Thomas L. DePriest Sr. and Cynthia White DePriest, and also the step-son of Vilas Virginia Johnson DePriest. Glenn served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Clinchfield Coal Company in Castlewood, VA. Glenn is preceded in death by his beloved wife Merry Carol Brown DePriest. Brothers Richard and Bud and sister Susie. Glenn is survived by sons Richard, Roger, John, Jim, Tommy and Tad. Daughters Glenda, Dawn and Tammy, as well as over 20 grand-children, and great grand-children, and numerous extended family members. Glenn is also survived by his brothers Roy and Ted and sisters Phyllis and Sandy. Glenn enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting, playing pool, bowling and many other outdoor activities. The lives of so many were touched by Glenn, and it is certain he will be missed. No services will be held.
