Glenda Gail McDonald of Arvada, Colorado, went to be with her Lord on May 25, 2023. Glenda was born on May 3, 1950, in Dallas, TX, to Thomas and Arliss Travis.
She is survived by her son Brian Lancaster and her daughter Deborah Compoz, and son-in-law Jimmy, her mother Arliss Travis, and three brothers, Tim Travis and wife Pam, Jim Travis and wife Bonnie, Gary Travis and wife Cathy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glenda was predeceased by her husband Scott McDonald, and father Thomas Travis.
Glenda graduated from Spruce High School in Dallas, Texas. She worked in the Insurance Industry before starting her family. Glenda’s hobbies were crocheting, reading, and playing her guitar. In her younger years, she enjoyed family vacations to Yellowstone, La Jolla, California, and Kissimmee, Florida.
Glenda loved her Lord and her Family. She took joy in the little things in life. We will miss her and cherish all the fond memories we have of her.
