Gilbert Victor Uranga (Gil Taylor) passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the age of 54. He was a beloved father, son, brother, friend and phenomenal musician. Gil loved his family, friends, rock ‘n roll, to play his guitar, to laugh and Jesus. He always had a welcoming smile, big hug or handshake. He always made everyone feel like a lifelong friend. His talent of songwriting and playing the guitar is a gift that will forever keep him alive in our hearts. Gilbert was born May 7, 1964 in Monahans, Texas to parents Gilberto Uranga and Virginia Urias. He is survived by his daughter, Kaylynn Flesher and granddaughter, Kailani Flesher, Arvada, CO;His mother, Virginia Uranga, Denver, CO; 5 Sisters and one brother; Christine Caldwell (Kevin Caldwell) Parker, CO; Carol Mitchell (Kevin Mitchell) Bennett, CO; Cecilia Uranga, Lone Tree, CO; Carmen Uranga, Denver, CO; Virginia Sanchez (Salbador Sanchez Jr.) Northglenn, CO; Timothy Cox, Bennett, CO; 10 nieces, 2 nephews, 28 great nieces and nephews and 4 great great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Gilberto Uranga, February 4, 2017. A life celebration in memory of Gilbert will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at The Venue, 1451 Cortez St., Denver, CO 80221 from 12-6 PM MDT.
