Garry Scott Addleman

April 22, 1971 - October 14, 2014 On Tuesday, October 14 Garry Scott Addleman, 43, passed away unexpectedly at home in Arvada, Colorado. Scott was born April 22, 1971 in Baltimore, Maryland to Garry Addleman and Marie Konka Addleman. He is survived by his mother, Marie Konka Addleman, Aurora, Colorado whom he loved very much. He is also survived by his wife, Amy Maestas Addleman, to whom he was very devoted. Also survived by Tyler DeTray, stepson who loved “Big Scott”. He was preceded in death by his and Amy's infant son, Phillip Paul Addleman, his grandparents Jane and Chester Konka and his father Garry Addleman. Scott loved his beautiful niece, Madeline Rose Platerote and his brother Alex Platerote. Survived by his sister Robin Addleman Spires of Maryland and her children Jordan, Logan and Isabella. Survived also by his sister Cindy Arnold Platerote. As the first grandchild and first nephew Scott is survived by a large extended family. Godmother and Aunt, Ann Hague Silver Spring, Maryland, Aunts and Uncles Pat Konka Orange, Virginia Karen Stephens, Radcliff, Kentucky,Kathy Konka, Annapolis, Maryland Chuck Konka, Kent Island Maryland, Cousins John Mihal White Hall, Maryland, Luci Hague, Silver Spring Maryland. Also survived by parents in law Candace and Carlos Maestas, Denver Colorado and numerous brothers and sisters in law, also of Denver. Scott was a loving and devoted son and husband who had many interests including buying and rebuilding cars, caring for his 3 cats, football, baseball and enjoying time with his family. He will be remembered for his large heart and caring for others. He will be greatly missed.
