July 4, 1982 - June 23, 2012 Garrett James Cunnington, 29, passed away June 23, 2012, in Golden, Colorado. Born July 4, 1982, in Denver, Colorado, Garrett lived and worked in the metro area as a disaster restoration lead technician. Garrett's warm personality was loved by many. He will truly be remembered by family and friends for his remarkable sense of humor and his caring heart. Garrett is survived by his son Gavynn Lynn of Golden; step-daughter Ryleigh of Littleton; parents Guy and Gail Cunnington of Golden; sister Hope (Benny) Corrales of Castle Rock; brother Jason (Tammy) Cunnington of Truth or Consequences, NM; sister Melanie Cunnington of Lakewood, as well as his nieces and nephews Dylan, Jason, Lina, Aliyah, Joely, Caden, Walker, Devon, Tori and Peytin. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, July 2, 2012, at Crossroads Church of Denver, 9725 West 50th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033. Family and friends are welcome to attend an open house following the service at Guy and Gail's home, 5970 Virgil Ct., Golden, Colorado 80403.
