Frederick Preil passed away on August 19, 2021. He was born on March 4, 1935 in Hungary. He fled Hungary during the Hungarian Revolution in 1956. He met his future wife, Elizabeth, on a train on the way to Austria. They married on July 3, 1964. Frederick became a U.S. Citizen in 1965. He served in the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper from 1961 to 1963. After, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and became an Aerospace Engineer with Grumman Aircraft Systems. He retired from his position as Senior Manufacturing Engineer in 1995 and enjoyed traveling. Frederick is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth, his daughter Diane, son-in-law Robert and 2 grandchildren, Ashley and Jonah. He was buried at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO on September 21, 2021.
