Freda Joyce Dufresne

Freda Joyce Dufresne of Wheat Ridge, a caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother, was called home by the lord at the age of 88 on August 27th, 2021. Freda was the youngest of eight siblings born to Elmer and Sylvia Wren in Eufaula, Oklahoma, on January 31st, 1933. Freda is survived by two sons; Mike of Boulder, CO and Ray of Conifer, CO. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Mekni and Alex; and two great grandchildren; Xander and Decklyn. Freda graduated from Bakersfield High School in 1951, and then attended school in Sacramento, California, where she became a Registered Nurse (RN). She became a Pediatric Nurse and retired from Presbyterian Saint Luke's in 2012. Then she volunteered and worked for Lutheran Medical Center, and nursing homes in the area. Freda's service will be held at Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church on Friday, September 3rd, 2021 at Noon. Her service is open to those who wish to attend.
