July 29, 1924 - November 11, 2011 87, passed away at his home in Golden November 11, 2011. Fred is preceded in death by his loving wife Frances; son Brad; and daughter Beverly. He is survived by his daughters Marilyn Ball-Shannon and Lynda (James) Ball-Williams; 10 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. Fred was a Master Electrician at Coors in Golden for 30 plus years and prior to that he served in the United States Navy during World War II aboard the USS Aucilla (AO 56). A proud member of the Golden, CO VFW Post #4171 and the Golden, CO American Legion post #21. Fred will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. A viewing for Fred will be held at Crossroads Church of Denver (50th Kipling) 9901 West 50th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO on Wednesday, November 16th, 2011 from 4PM~6PM. The Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Thursday, November 17th, 2011 at 10AM. Burial at Crown Hill Cemetery to follow directly after the funeral service.
