Erwin Lynn Dreiling

Erwin Lynn Dreiling Beloved Brother, Brother in Law & Uncle Erwin was born July 11, 1953, the third son of Alvin & Lucille Dreiling. His parents and brother, Kenneth proceeded him in death. Erwin died January 23, 2018. Erwin proudly served our country in the US Marines Corps during the Vietnam war as a Lance Corporal. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He always had Marine Corp license plates and decals on his car. Erv retired from King Soopers where he worked as a butcher for 12 years making lifelong friends. He was a classic car enthusiast and often took his beautiful black 1971 Buick Grand Sport 455 Stage 1 to car shows. He loved showing it off and taking his nieces & nephews for rides in it. The love of Erv’s life was Betsy, a white Maltese from a rescue shelter. He called her his “Angel from God.” She shared his daily coffee from his cup while she was perched on the kitchen table. He was seldom seen without her. He is survived by: Brother : William Dreiling Sr (Susie) Sister in Law: Debby Dreiling Nephews: William Dreiling Jr (Shauna) Michael Dreiling (Annie) Arthur Tafoya (Shelly) James Dreiling (Jessica) Kenneth Tafoya Nieces: Tina Reichart (Luke) Ericka Pilon (Jeremy) And many Great & Great-Great nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Rest in Peace.
