Elaine Syble Toureen

Elaine Syble Toureen, , of Golden Co,formerly of Arvada - May 22, 1933-January 20, 2016, passed away at 82 years of age. Elaine was the 2nd oldest of four children, born to Elmo and Grace DeJaynes, (both deceased); brothers Wayne (deceased) DeJaynes, and Keith (Gaydene) DeJaynes, and sister Sharon Paris (Bob). Elaine married her sweetheart, Lane Toureen at age 18. He preceeded her in death in 2009. They had three children Chuck Toureen, Todd (Lorraine) Toureen, Denise Toureen Wenk (Jeff), 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, (great grandson JL died at age 4 ); many nieces and nephews, and other family and friends. She loved spending time with her family and friends, keeping her home beautiful, where many went for support and comfort and her famous spaghetti or green chili dinners, play board games, marbles, cards. She had bowled in a league for many years with family members and friends. Elaine also worked at a women's clothing store many years and enjoyed being around the fashion industry. She was witty, with a great sense-of-humor. She is greatly missed. After cremation, a memorial mass was held at St. Cajetan Catholic Church, 299 S Raleigh Street, Denver, Co 80219, on January 22, 2016. Her final resting place is next to her husband, Lane, in the Arvada Cemetery.
