August 2, 1929 - May 29, 2011 And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. - Psalm 23 81, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado passed away peacefully Sunday morning, May 29th, 2011. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. A memorial service for Elaine will be held on June 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain Vista Care Center, 4800 Tabor Street, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, 80033. Mrs. Wolters will be inurned at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado. She is survived by her children, Cheri Hopkinson (Eade), Mark Wolters (Alice), and David Wolters (Robin); grandchildren, Lindsey Houtz, Tiffaney Wolters, Ed Hopkinson, and Erik Hopkinson; and great grandchildren, Hailee Wolters-Rodriguez, Jayden Wolters-Rodriguez, and Mikayla Houtz. Ealine is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Wolters. Elaine was born in San Diego, California to Ethel and Oliver Burns. She attended elemetary through High School in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Elaine attended Emily-Griffith secreterial college. In her career she especially enjoyed working at Emaus Lutheran Church supporting the pastors, Arvada Police Department as a dispathcer, and Sterns Rogers as an executive secretary.
