January 26, 1924 - October 1, 2012 88, of 9730 West 41st Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, died October 1, 2012, after a short illness. The son of Betty Long, Edward was a native of Denver. He was raised and graduated from college in Sioux City, Iowa. He was an Independent Insurance Agent in Denver for many years, and was active in the Kiwanis Club and the Boy Scouts. Ed is survived by Donna Allen and children Chris, Greg, Tracie, Le Anne, Todd, and Robert; 15 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. A Memorial and interment service will be held October 27, 2012, 11 A.M., at Arvada Cemetery.
