July 11, 1929 - December 20, 2014 Edward "Eddie" Henry Berninzoni, 85, of Wheat Ridge, Colorado died December 20th, 2014 with his family by his side. He is back together with his mother Mary Zarlengo Berninzoni, father Robert Berninzoni, his dear sister Anita Raish and great grandson Adrian. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Donna Berninzoni who took such loving care of him to the end. He raised his children with a big heart, sense of humor, love, patience, caring and open-mindedness just to name a few qualities which we will never forget. His seven children Michael, Stephen, Cyndie, Lanette, Jody Sanders, Sandy Gamez, and Jesse Bacon will miss him deeply as will his 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. His surviving sister and brothers Marion Waldron, Bobby and wife Roby Berninzoni, Ric and wife Connie Berninzoni will cherish all the wonderful and fun memories they created together, especially over a hot plate of pasta. Eddie was a proud veteran of the Korean War aboard the USS Antietam. He loved the outdoors as a spectacular gardener and avid fisherman. He loved sports, starting when he was a catcher for Holy Family baseball team. He was a little league umpire and of course loved to watch the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. He had an uncanny memory for not only sports but people, places and events going back to his childhood. Through the years working for Meadow Gold dairies and his time transporting elderly for S. R.C., he made countless friends and touched many lives. It was normal for him to talk to complete strangers as if they were friends. They always walked away with a smile. Eddie loved life. His family and friends were everything to him. His humor and fun-loving teasing with everyone was certainly a family trait. His presence with us here on earth will be missed but he will forever be in our hearts. Funeral services at Our Lady of Mt.
