July 26, 1936 ~ October 19, 2015 Edna May Thoutt, of Arvada passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at her home. She was 79 years old. She was born July 26, 1936 in Garnett, Kansas to the late Pete Cecila Hermreck. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald, Paul, and Kenny Hermreck and three sisters Vera Benus, Darlene Seaton, and Doris Browning. Edna enjoyed caring for her family, making ceramics, and shopping. She is survived by one sister Ruth Madrid; her five children, Pam Piette, Kathy Jerry Rutherford, Melvin Thoutt Jr., Kevin Thoutt, Lisa Juan Garcia; 11 grandchildren, Shawn Rutherford, Jeremy Rutherford, Josh Dobberstein, Dawn Dobberstein, Brittany Thoutt, Ryan Garcia, Amber Thoutt, Brandon Rutherford, Justin Thoutt, Jered Thoutt, and Brennen Thoutt; 6 great grandchildren, Sophia Dobberstein, Kyler Dobberstein, Jayden Sanchez, and Kasyn Dobberstein, Keon Dobberstein, and Olivia Dobberstein; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends also survive her. Services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 9:30 am at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Dr. Denver, CO 80236 Staging Area “B”. Following the service the family will receive friends and family one hour after the service on Friday at 2441 E. 98th. Ave. Thornton 80229.
