October 28, 1941 - March 5, 2012 Dwanye Jensen was born in Cozad, NE on 10-28-41 to Arthur and Virigina Jensen, He leaves behind his partner of twenty years Augustin Barbosa , his children Genon Jensen-Devaux and Jean Francois Devaux, Chrisitina Jensen, Tricia and Jim Shoemaker and his six grandchildren, Chance,Noah,Madison,Leila Lu, Miakoda and Taten. Along with his father Arthur Jensen and six siblings, Eunice Vayas,Carol Gronewold, Rosemary Moore, Laverne Jensen, Kathy Potter and Jolyn Harris. He graduated from high school in 1960 from Gothenburg,NE and soon after joined the Marines, honorably discharged as a LCPL E-3 June 14th 1966. He married Connie Nonneman in 1965 and had three children in the next few years. He worked for the Union Pacific Railroad for many years as a account and also for the Hotel Industry later in his life after his retirement from the Railroad. Dwayne was a friendly loving kind man who had a smile that that could shine a mile away, he was always quick to laugh and forgive. He loved his dog Scottie and spent his days weather watching and doing crosswords to keep his mind sharp. In lieu of flowers we would like all donations sent to the family for a celebration of his life at a later date this summer.
