August 6, 1965 - March 13, 2014 Douglas Robert Parker, born August 6, 1965 in Martin, SD, passed away from natural causes at his home in Arvada, CO on March 13th, 2014. Douglas attended schools in Sioux Falls, SD and graduated from Washington High in 1983. He was a star high school wrestler. Doug graduated from Dakota State College in 1987. He was married to Beth Berglin from 1987-2011. To this union three daughters were born. In his adult life Doug was an avid skier and shared a passion for sprint car racing (as fan, team member and driver). Douglas worked for ScottTrade as a System Analyst in Denver, CO. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Alexandra and Abigail Parker both of Colorado Springs and Emilie Parker of Durango, CO; significant other, Mary Brewer-Bashford; mother, Joan Parker Witt (Husband Daryl) of Sioux Falls, SD; brother, William (wife Robin) Parker of Algona, Iowa; nephews Owen and Christian Parker of Algona, IA and niece Erin Parker also of Algona, IA. Services will be held Wednesday March 19, 2014, 2:00pm at Crossroads Church of Denver Chapel (9901 W. 50th Ave. Wheat Ridge).
