Dorothy Irene Ettles

Dorothy passed away peacefully on June 23, 2016. She was 91 years of age, born February 9, 1925. In her last few years she was well taken care of by two of her daughters, Debi Hubbard and Joni Kleewein in the home she lived in for the last 20 + years. She married Everett Ettles (deceased) in 1941 and had 5 children: Angela Gardner, Janet Adams (deceased), Larry Ettles, Debi Hubbard, and Joni Kleewein. Dorothy (Dot), was born just outside of Granby, Colorado and went to school in the Granby/Kremmling area. After getting divorced from Everett, she went to work for Martin Marietta (now Lockheed-Martin) to support her 5 children. At Martin she excelled in electronic component manufacturing for the nations Space program in the 60's, 70's and 80's. She traveled to different facilities for Martin to train others. She retired from Martin Marietta and enjoyed gardening, her Grandchildren, gambling at Central City, traveling, and getting the family together for celebrations. She has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed visiting with them right up to the end. She will be dearly missed
