December 27, 1936 ~ June 2, 2015 Dorothea Lorraine Yancy, 78 of Lakewood Colorado, Passed away on June 2, 2015 Dorothea was proceeded in death by parents, Vera Eva and John William Yancy, Siblings LaJoy LaVerne Marshall, Helen Thornton, Raleigh Yancy,Porter Yancy, Son Lawrence Yancy and Uncle and aunt Guy A and Lorraine Yancy. She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons Jamie L (Deborah) Yancy, Darren Nevels, and Christopher (Sara) Yancy. Three Brothers Thomas of Ohio, Gene of California Maurice of Indiana. Two sisters Maxcine and Naomi of Indiana. Four Grandchildren Anthony (Marcy) Smith, Jamie Erin (Tremayne) Jones, Darren J Nevels, and Indiana Yancy all of Colorado. Five Great Grand Children, Devontae Yancy, Tristin Yancy-Jones, Tyson Smith Evan Smith, Sydnie Yancy Jones and a host of nieces, nephews. The funeral Service will be held at 11am on Friday June 12th Crossroads Church of Denver 9901 W 50th avenue, Wheat Ridge CO 80033.
