Cover photo for Doris Jean Wietrick's Obituary

December 18, 1922 - November 17, 2014 After suffering a massive stroke on November 13th Doris decided it was time to go home and be with the Lord, passing away on November 17, 2014, with her daughter Patricia by her side. Doris was born in Witchita Kansas, to Emma and Lon Foster and spent much of her childhood in Missouri. She was a seamstress for most of her adult life making draperies. Her hobbies included collecting anything that caught her fancy, including trade tokens and old bottles. She was an avid reader and loved The Denver Broncos. She also enjoyed showing Boston Terriers and going to dog shows. She spent many enjoyable days watching her daughters show dogs being shown. A highlight of that was when she went to New York City and watched her daughters first champion go Best of Breed at the Boston Terrier Club of New York and Best Opposite at The Westminister Kennel Cub. She is survived by her daughter Patricia and numerous Boston Terriers, whom were her "grandchildren." There is no service planned. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doris to www.adoptaboston.com, CSU vet school or any dog related charity.
