Donald Anthony “Don” Medina was 53 years old when he passed on July 21, 2018. He was born in Del Norte, Colorado and was the youngest son of four children. He is survived by his mother Porfiria Medina, brother Ken Medina (Michele), sister Cathy Medina, daughter Abbie Williams, granddaughter Bailey Williams, nieces Tawney Medina (Tyler), Tiana Medina, Alyssa Medina, great niece Tessa and his son, Sean Adams; all of whom loved him dearly and will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his older brother Bob Medina and his father Joe J. Medina. He made a huge impact and touched so many lives. He was a kind-hearted, thoughtful and gentle soul and he was always there to help anyone, whenever they needed it. Not only did he enjoy helping others, he also enjoyed spending time with friends and family. His hobbies included fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, tossing horse shoes, shooting pool, BBQ’ing and playing and spending time with his granddaughter who was the apple of his eye. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Golden, CO. The rosary services will begin at 9:30 am, followed by the mass at 10:00 am, burial services at Golden cemetery immediately following, and concluding with a reception in the community center. The Medina family would like to extend their gratitude to all who have been a part of his life.
