Don W. Lister

April 10, 1954 ~ June 9, 2015 Don W Lister of Denver, Architect, passed away on June 9th, 2015, at the age of 86. Born April 10, 1929, in Ogden, Utah, Don grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, attended Omaha University, Illinois Institute of Technology, and the University of Illinois. He received his Architecture degree in 1954. During the Korean War, Don served in the Army at 7th Army Headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, receiving an honorable discharge in 1956. In 1960, Don became a Colorado licensed architect, opening his own firm in 1974, and retiring in 2003. He is survived by his sister Irene Elmore of Chetopa, Kansas, his nieces and nephews John, Nancy, Richard, Barbara, and all their children, and his friend Hak Chung Fung of Denver. Burial took place at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver
