Dennis W Murphy was born 12/20/1933 in Buffalo, New York and passed away peacefully at home on 1/12/21 in Parker, Colorado. Dennis is survived by his wife Dorothy of 65 years, his brother Lee Murphy and 7 sons: Daniel (Jacqueline), Michael (Julie- deceased), James (Mary), Stephen (Kim), Thomas (Tanya), Kenneth (Laura), Timothy (Kimberly), 22 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with 3 more on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents Regina and Dan Murphy, sister Jean Ann Smith, and brother Dan Murphy. He worked in the automotive field as a: consultant, trainer, business accounting manager, controller, general manager, and dealer. He was a long-time basketball coach and avid sports fan. His pride and joy were his family where he devoted all his free time. Dennis loved to watch them play sports or any activity that they were involved in. His time was always theirs and he never tired of being their cheerleader. He had a likable personality and made friends wherever he went. Waitstaff, managers, and anyone else in the restaurant would be his friend before he left. Nurses would be talking to him about anything by the time he left the hospital.
