David Russell Evans was born on November 26, 1956 in Denver, CO. He passed away peacefully on May 5, 2019 at his home in Aurora, CO with his loving family at his side. He is a faithful Christian, and devoted to his faith in Jesus Christ. He offered many testimonials along his impassioned path in life. David is survived by his Beloved Wife, Samiati, his Step-daughter Eva Riyanti, (Raymond Ong), and “Grandaughters”, Evelyn and Sophia. He is also survived by his Sister, Joy Evans Emery of Rifle, CO, and his Brother, Jeffrey J (Marie) Evans of Whitehouse, TX. He has a Nephew Tyler Emery, (Andrea, Jayden, Kaidence), Niece Jamie Evans, and Nephew Brandon Emery, (Shay). He was preceded in death by his parents Marjorie Jo Evans and Sherman E. Evans. David served his country in the U.S. Navy, E3-Fire Protection Services on the USS Independence, from September 16, 1977, and was Honorably Discharged on April 14, 1980. He then transferred into the U.S. Air National Guard, Active Reserves, A1C- Airman First Class, and was Honorably Discharged on October 29, 1981. David mostly grew up in Bailey, CO with fond memories of all of his Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, and numerous Cousins. He loved the outdoors with all the family and friend activities of hunting, fishing, motorcycles, backpacking, sledding and tubing, skiing, bicycles, and cherished family holiday fun! He attended Platte Canyon School, and Graduated from Pomona High School in Arvada, Co. Memorial Services will be privately respected by his Christian family.
