July 5, 1962 - June 7, 2013 Darrell "Scott" Smith passed away June 7, 2013. He was born in Denver on July 5, 1962 and spent his childhood growing up and attending schools in Arvada, Colorado. He was active in several Arvada sport leagues during this time. Shortly after graduation from Arvada High School in 1980 he studied to become an Electrician with the Local Union #68 IBEW. He was with the Union for many years taking pride in the project developments. Scott was a great fan of the Denver professional sport teams avidly watching their games and purchasing their collectibles. His love of music prompted him to be self-taught on the guitar and piano and collecting his favorite artist's albums. His home was tendered with love for the many trees he planted and birds he fed. He was very talented in building projects and remodeling his home along with helping his mom remodel her home. He was a man of many passions and will be sadly missed by his mother; Lynn Smith, sister; Linda, brother; Mike along with his nephews; Tristan, Dmitri and Brenor and niece; McAlyn and extended family members and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Friday June 14, 2013, 1:00pm, at Crossroads Church of Denver, 9901 W. 50th Avenue (50th Kipling) Wheat Ridge, CO.
