January 5, 1942 - November 7, 2014 Darrell Hancock 72, of Englewood, passed away November 7, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Diana Hancock; Daughters Tara Perez (Chris Perez) and Christina Tharp (Jamie Tharp); Grandchildren Kailah, Brittnee, Joey, Jacob, Joshua, and Jaxon; and one Great Grandchild on the way (Logan Darrell Baca). Darrell was preceded in death by his parents Ila and Dallas Hancock, four brothers Dallas, Melvin, Raymond, Gerald and one sister Dallene. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 14, 2014, at Amazing Grace Church, Englewood, CO 80110. Family and friends celebrated his life at their family home in Englewood. Darrell was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by all his family and friends. He will always be in our hearts. God saw you were getting tired, And a cure was not to be. So He put His hands around you, and whispered, "Come to Me." With tearful eyes I watched you suffer, and saw you fade away. Although I love you dearly, I Could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, working hands were put to rest. God broke my heart to prove to me. He only takes the best.
