Daniel Raymond Lazzari Sr.

Daniel Raymond Lazzari Sr., 56, passed away at Lutheran Medical Center on February 9th, 2017 after undergoing surgery for a heart condition. He was born July 18, 1960 in San Mateo, CA and grew up in Woodside, CA where he attended Woodside High School. He married Patricia Ann Ebeling on August 20, 1983 and they were sealed in the temple on November 22, 1983. He worked as a mechanic for United Airlines where he was employed for 27 years. He loved drag racing, classic cars, and motorcycles. He loved going fast and often threw caution to the wind. He was a “miracle mechanic”, often fixing things that others said were impossible. He was a Boy Scouts scoutmaster, ran a Jr. Dragster team, volunteered with the Wheat Ridge High School marching band, and traveled all over the world. He also loved restoring classic cars to their former glory and was a member of the Oldsmobile Club of Denver, whom he considered family. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, and four children, Daniel Jr., Devon, Jeremy, and Tessa. He touched the hearts of many people and will be dearly missed. Funeral service will be held February 17, 2017 at 1pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 15605 W 32nd Ave in Golden, CO. He will be buried in Crown Hill Cemetary.
