Daniel Jonus Tafoya

Daniel Jonus Tafoya – February 28, 1969 – May 17, 2023

Our beloved son, brother and friend, passed away on May 17. Daniel is survived by his mother, Katy Asmus, brother, Christopher Tafoya, and sister, Gina Fitzgerald. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Tafoya.

Daniel was a talented musician and enjoyed his days playing in bands with his friends. He was a gentle soul, his quick wit and dry sense of humor always had a way of making us all laugh. He was an avid Rockies fan, had some funny nicknames for certain players, and loved watching the games.

Daniel will be greatly missed by all his family, relatives and the true friends he made in his short life.

Thank you, each and every relative and friend for being there for him during his difficult times.

He had requested no funeral, instead, a Catholic service will be held at a later date for family and friends.

Through the mercy of God, rest in peace Daniel.
