November 25, 1958 - January 20, 2013 Corina Graham our beloved sister went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ January 20, 2013. Born November 25, 1958 Corina attended school at Aurora Central High School. She later attended and graduated from Dixie University in St. George,UT. Corina later moved to Anchorage Alaska in the mid 1980's where she dedicated her time to helping musicians of all ages. Corina traveled around the country promoting music and developing music programs, and working in the schools and after-school programs. She was a dedicated Christian and music was her service in showing God's love. Corina was not only a teacher; she was a talented musician in her own right, writing many songs and serving as a musician with the Martin Luther King Jr.citywide celebration choir for more than ten years. She traveled internationally to China as the music accompanist for One World One People International Peace choir.Once there, she directed a 250-voice choir in songs. Corina gave back to the community as an emcee for various groups,including the NAACP. Along with the many songs she wrote her accomplishments extended to the written word as well: she wrote and self-published a book in 2010 entitled, “You're grown when you…” Corina also enjoyed serving as musician for many church's Lighthouse Christian Fellowship,First CME both of Anchorage, Alaska, Lowry Community Christian Church, and All Nations COGIC Denver CO. Corina returned home to Aurora, Colorado last summer to help out with family matters. Her mother, Cordelia Graham, who passed away June 5, 2012 Corina Graham touched the lives of many. She leaves behind 9 siblings; Joel Emerson, Timothy(Ana),David(Debra),Faith(Paul),Daniel, Michae, Janice, Matthew and Frances. Nieces and nephews Aza(Judy),Derry,Timothy, Kontessa, David(Tony),Adrienne,Calvin("CJ"),Ashley, Isaiah,Francena. Beloved niece Denita Day. Great nieces and nephews D'Andre, Kasius and Chole. Her Father Joe C.Graham preceded her in death. Corina was surrounded by a wealth of family and friends in GA,MO,AK,OH,MI,CO,TX and UT,to name a few. Corina will be missed immensely.
