January 21, 1962 - July 15, 2014 If you were to acquaint Chris with one word it would be motorcycles. He had a love for motorcycles from a very young age. He appreciated the speed and freedom he felt while riding. He rode with friends at W.L. Contractors and then eventually rode with his wife, Caroline. Chris was very proud of his service in the military. He served for the Army in Germany, North Carolina, and California for a total of seven years. He specialized in artillery and came home to Colorado honorably. But what were most important to Chris was his girls. He raised his two older daughters (Jennifer and Christina) alone with the help of his devoted and committed mother, Mary. He also shared many wonderful memories with his youngest daughter Angee. Chris and his daughters all shared their ups and downs but their closeness and love for each other never weakened. He loved camping, barbecuing, and traveling with his family. His two older daughters gave Chris four beautiful grandchildren, Ceriona, Jeremiah, G'Vauni, and Joziah. They loved their Papa!!! Chris was very special to all of them and each individually was special to him. Ceriona (7yrs), the first grandchild and only girl who gave Chris the name Papa; Jeremiah (5yrs) and Chris were best buddies and spent many hours drawing, playing and talking with each other; G'Vauni (2yrs) is Chris' Bubba and Joziah (1yr) is his Jojo. Chris was a very talented traffic electrician. For 17 years he worked loyally and dependably for W.L. Contractors. He completed many successful projects and had a second family with members of the company. Chris' parents Mary and Jim and siblings Mark and Lisa owned a restaurant in Grant, Colorado, when he was a pre-teen (this is where he learned how to be such a great cook). Chris and his family have always been at each other's side and have never lost the love their mother instilled in them as little children. Chris married Caroline in the backyard of their Brighton home. They were happily together for 14 years. They are best friends and partners for life……. We love you Chris.
