July 5, 1957 - September 19, 2011 54, Thornton resident, passed September 19, 2011. She is survived by her parents Vernon and Dixie Lou Gasper; daughter Ashley Marie Eskridge; son Jasan Leigh Eskridge; brothers Doug and David Gasper; sister Kelly Anderson; and many friends. She was divorced from Thomas James Eskridge in 1997. Christie had many hobbies including creating jewelry, knitting, sewing, scrap booking, reading, shopping and spending time with her children. Christie was very appreciative of the beauty that nature had to offer. She enjoyed camping and living in the mountains. Christie was an artist at heart and a lover of history and creating art. She led a simple life that included taking time to stop and smell the flowers. Funeral Mass Wednesday, September 28, 2011, 9 A.M., Spirit of Christ Catholic Church (Chapel), 7400 W. 80th Avenue Arvada, Colorado.
