April 13, 1922 - December 3, 2012 Charles "Red" Edward Painter, Jr. of Aurora, Colorado passed away December 3, 2012. He was 90 years old, born on April 13, 1922 in Princeton, Missouri. Red was preceded by his loving wife of 64 years, Lois Mildred Fordyce Painter, parents; Charles and Catherine Painter, brother; Bob Painter and sister; Nan Crawford. Survived by daughters; Sandy Hartnett and Kathie Albright and sister; Jeanette Talley, 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He is a Retired Senior Master Sargent of the United States Air Force. Red loved many hobbies including, cooking, gardening, bowling, watching baseball and fishing at his cabin in Grand Lake. He was a long time member of the Shrine and Elks. His family remembers him as a loving husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa. Service to be announced at a later date.
