Charles Eugene "Charlie" Allbee

Charles Eugene “Charlie” Allbee, November 18, 1937 -December 9, 2016 Charlie Allbee was born in Holly, CO, and grew up in Alamosa, CO. He earned Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Adams State College in Alamosa, and Doctor of Arts from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. An original faculty member of Metropolitan State College, Charlie enjoyed teaching English classes at Metro until he retired in 2002. Charlie is survived by his wife of 55 years Nancy, daughter Janet, son Brian, daughter-in-law Dawn, granddaughters Liana and Heather, and sister Sandy Lacy. Services will be private.
