May 8, 1927 - May 26, 2014 Charles (Chuck) Redig, 87 years, of Arvada/Wheat Ridge passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2014. He was born May 8, 1927 in Marshfield, Wisconsin. He was a pioneer in the equipment rental field and owned A-1 Rental in Wheat Ridge for 55 years. Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Phyllis M. Redig. He was a descendant of Christian Redig and Anna Marie (Capellini) Redig. Survivors include two sons, Christopher E. Redig, and Russell W. (Paula) Redig of Arvada. Four grandchildren, Korin, Vance, Sydney, and Toria. Two brothers, Paul, and Robert, and one sister, Betty. A memorial service for Chuck will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Majestic View Nature Center at 11:00am.
