March 16, 1926 - March 17, 2015 Charlene J. Brown passed away in Wheat Ridge, CO on March 17, 2015. She was born in Coffeyville, KS on March 16, 1926 to William Frank and Mary Edna (Weller) Jones. Charlene was a graduate of East High School in Wichita, KS and a graduate of Wichita State University. She was always an active member of her church, several bridge clubs and her PEO chapter. An avid knitter for most of her life, family members were the beneficiary of many sweaters and afghans. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charlene is survived by her husband, Bob; her son Steve and his two children Kyle (Christine) and Keith; and her daughter Kim Smagala (Tom) and their children James Smagala (Edith) and Jessica Page (James); and her great-grandchildren Ellie Greg Smagala and Charlotte Vivienne Page; as well as siblings Norma Moffett, of Lakewood, CO and Bill Jones, of Chanute, KS. A memorial service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on April 10, 2015 at Wheat Ridge Presbyterian Church, 9180 W. 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO.
