Chad Armstrong

On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, Chad Armstrong, loving Husband, Father and Papa passed away at age 54. Chad was born on December 31, 1964 in Colorado to Lynn and Joan Armstrong. On August 26, 1983, he married Kathy Ann Armstrong. They raised two sons, Dorn and Eli. Chad is a proud member of the Local Union 669 for 30 years, a sprinkler fitter till the end. He always enjoyed and took great pride in his work. Chad dedicated his life to looking after his family, he did everything for them, from working on his sons’ cars to remodel work on their homes. He was always at the gate to open it for Kathy and help carry in and fix the treasures she found. Fixing flat bike tires for his granddaughters, to glamming up an old treehouse for his girls. He is also an avid animal lover, he brought home every stray that ever crossed his path, he loved a nurtured them all and gave them a soft place to land. Little Girl was the dog love of his life, this small pit bull stole his heart and he never got over her loss. He loves riding his Harley and never missed a chance to ride! He loved taking Kathy down the road every evening after dinner to watch the sun set, he loved taking the Grandchildren for the occasional loop as well. Riding is one of his greatest joys, he never missed a chance to spread his wings and fly! Chad was preceded in death by Grandfather Albert Frabott, Father in Law John Rood and the dog love of his life Little Girl. He is survived by his Wife Kathy Armstrong of 35 years, Son Dorn Armstrong (Courtney Armstrong), Son Eli Armstrong, Granddaughters Tess Armstrong, Jill Armstrong, Violet Armstrong, Delilah Armstrong, Grandson Jonathon Armstrong, Parents, Lynn and Joan Armstrong, Brothers, Sister and Brother in Laws, many Nieces and Nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9th, 2019 at 1130 1st Ave. Deer Trail, CO 80105 at 2 o’clock p.m. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to Chad’s Memorial Fund through the GoFundMe link found on Facebook.
