Cathy Marie Miller

Cathy Marie Miller, age 55, died at Collier Hospice Care Center in Wheat Ridge, CO on November 17, 2017, surrounded by her loved ones. Cathy was born on December 5, 1961, in San Antonio, TX to parents Byron and Helen (Cartwright) Miller. She was the fourth and final child of the family. Her family lived in Germany until settling in Golden, CO, where Cathy graduated from Wheat Ridge High School. She went on to study Radiological Technology and worked as a technologist until the birth of her child, Ashton. Cathy then worked with her mother in developing residential properties. Cathy loved being outside with her plants and multiple pets ranging from hermit crabs to her pet pig which was litter box trained. Cathy was preceded in death by her beloved parents Byron and Helen. She is survived by her daughter Ashton Duff of Denver, CO, her longtime friend and soul mate John McCorkle of Golden, CO, brother Ron (Sharon) Miller of Duncan, OK, brother Steve (Gayle) Miller of Grand Junction, CO, sister Susan (Dan) Budke of Salina, KS, and multiple uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends. A celebration of life will be held on November 21st at 5:00 pm at Kendrick Cottage at Crestview Park, 5414 Kendrick Ct, Golden, CO 80403. Please bring memories to share.
