May 13, 1957 - February 3, 2013 55, passed away on February 3, 2013 in Denver. Services will be held on Friday, February 8, 2013, at Crossroads Church of Denver, 9901 W. 50th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado, at 11 A.M. Cathy was born to the late John and Mary Kerns. She attended St. Bernadette elementary school thru junior high school, then graduated from Alameda High School in Lakewood, CO, in 1975. Cathy managed several restaurants, then worked in accounting for a number of well-known businesses throughout her career. She loved many social activities including playing pool, listening to country music, and interacting with people, especially with family and friends. Cathy also enjoyed reading books, watching old westerns on TV, as well as family dramas and action-packed movies. Cathy was attentive, caring, and concerned about everyone around her. Her smile would brighten up any room she entered, and her laugh was infectious. She is survived by her beloved spouse Danny Headrick; her daughter Kelsey Bishop; brothers Pat and Martin Kerns; sister Karen Kerns; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sister Susan Blake and brother Matthew Kerns.
