Carol Gene Lasater

Carol Gene Lasater, 69, of Denver, Colorado passed away on November 7th at Lutheran Hospice at Collier Hospice Center from complications of lung cancer. Carol was born August 18, 1948 in Puyallup, Washington to Robert L. and Emogene (Larimore) Carlson, both of whom preceded her in death. After graduation from Anchorage East High School, she married her husband, Glenn, on February 3, 1967 at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. She supported Glenn during his 23 year military career which took them from Alaska to Arizona, Washington, Georgia, New Jersey, Korea, Missouri, Germany, and Colorado. She worked as a Senior Buyer for a major food distribution company before retiring in 2007. Carol is survived by her loving husband Glenn, her son Jordan (Ashley Ferguson) Lasater, her sister-in-law Jo Lasater (Philip) Truty, her brother-in-law Luty (Sue) Lasater, her niece Gina (Jimmy) Pope, and her nephew Aaron (Molly) Gray, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. No services will be held. Special thanks to the staff of the Oncology Unit of Swedish Medical Center and to the caring staff of Lutheran Hospice at Collier Hospice Center. Donations in Carol’s name to the Lutheran Hospice at Collier Hospice Center will be greatly appreciated.
