Carol Ann Wassmer 1942-2022 It is with deep sorrow that we announce Carol Ann Wassmer , 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday morning, March 6th, 2022. Carol was born June 27th, 1942 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She grew up on the East Coast and spent most of her adult life in Boulder Colorado. She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years John W. Wassmer and 4 of her 5 children, Karen and (John) Geier, Kathi Crawford, Michael and (Lisa) Wassmer, John and (Karen) Wassmer. Her 3rd son Stephen Douglas Wassmer passed October of 2016. She adored her 12 grandchildren, Christine, Tom, Scott, Christopher, Jack, Zachariah, Daniel, Gabriel, Michael, Jessica, Katie and Johnny. Carol is the daughter of the late Helen and Adolph Harrison. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was involved in many aspects of our lives. Who gave of her time and energy selflessly. She was a devoted Catholic. A school and church volunteer. She also worked outside the home prior to and after raising a family. She was loved and cherished by many people. Carol enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends especially around the holidays, Halloween being a favorite for her and her grandchildren. Our lives are changed and she will be dearly missed. We Love you Willow! May God Bless you.
