June 4, 1946 - May 23, 2011 Carla Radee was brought into this world on June 4, 1946 in Midland, Texas and returned to mother earth late in the evening on May 23,2011. She moved to Homer, MI where she attended and graduated from Homer Community High School. She is survived by her mother Jeanne Spriggs, two children Jason (Shannon) Radee and Joy (Shane) Ashurst, her three grandchildren, Cody Radee, Jocelyn and Ian Ashurst, brothers Thomas Spriggs and Steve (Debbie) Spriggs. Carla's love for the outdoors and geology was second only to her love of learning and exploration. She will now be free to forever roam her beloved Colorado mountains, and majestic creeks and hills of Tennessee. She will be remembered widely for her perseverance and indomitable spirit. Those who knew her best will also remember her for her toughness and capacity for unyielding sincerity in times of need. Friends will gather Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Stage Coach State Park, Arrowhead Group Picnic Area, Steamboat, Springs, Colorado.
