Cameron Everett Ivey, age 26, went to be with Jesus on March 4, 2019. He was born on February 11, 1993 in Farmington, New Mexico to Phil and Yevette Ivey. He graduated from Farmington High School in 2010. He was attending Colorado Christian University to obtain his Psychology degree. Cameron was his wife Heather’s Smallville. He was an amazing cook who never used a recipe. He earned a living cooking for pre-school children at St. Joan of Arc Early Learning Center in Arvada. Cameron loved his nephews, niece, and the children at St. Joan of Arc ELC and at Novation children’s ministry. Cameron loved music, was compassionate, had a big heart, was honorable, and was a man of his word. He was tone deaf but loved to sing. He couldn’t dance but was taking dance lessons to learn. He strived to do good and loved Jesus. Cameron is survived by Heather Haggard, his wife; Phil Ivey, father; Yevette Ivey, Mother; Christopher Ivey, brother (wife Esther); Jamille Tucker, sister (husband Travis); Wyatt Tucker, nephew; Waylon Tucker, nephew; Cora Tucker, niece; Tom Hayes, uncle (wife Cindy); Perry Hayes, uncle; Sally Ivey, grandmother; Bonnie Grimes, grandmother; step-father; step-mother; step-brothers; step-sisters; extended family and many friends. The Memorial for Cameron Ivey will be this Saturday, March 9th at 2:00pm at Novation Church (9051 Harlan Street, Ste 10, Westminster CO 80031) followed by a reception at the Parrish Hall of Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church (12735 W 58th Ave, Arvada, CO 80002). Please park in the rear parking lot at St. Joan of Arc. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stout Street Foundation in honor of Cameron Ivey.
