Brian Scott Mcneely

September 29, 1957 ~ May 2, 2015 Brian Scott McNeely, 57, went to be with Jesus on May 2, 2015 at his home in Morrison, Colorado. Brian was born on September 29, 1957 in Dodge City, Kansas to John and Phyllis McNeely of Coldwater, Kansas. He was the second born of four children. Brian graduated from Coldwater High School in 1975 and on June 3rd, 1978, Brian married Elaine Burkhall, also of Coldwater. The couple was married 36 years and had three children: Shaunessy, Jaden and LoriAnne. Brian graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University in 1979. He later received his Master’s degree from the United States Sports Academy in Mobile, Alabama in 1992. Brian began his college football coaching career at Pratt Community College in Pratt, KS and then went on to coach at Butler County Community College in El Dorado, KS, University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS, Garden City Community College in Garden City, KS, Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID, University of Colorado in Boulder, CO and the University of Indiana in Bloomington, IN. In 2005 Brian founded PrepTracker, LLC and Global Refuge International. He was passionate about college football and also serving refugees in war zones around the globe. Brian worked tirelessly in both businesses until his death. Brian is survived by his wife, Elaine and three children: Shaunessy McNeely, LoriAnne McNeely and Jaden McNeely and his wife Michelle, parents: John and Phyllis McNeely and siblings: Michael McNeely and wife Ramona, Brent McNeely and wife Allison and Jari Davis and husband Mark. Memorial service is to be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 9th, 2015 at Riverside Church in Denver, Colorado.
