Our beautiful, beautiful sister, aunt, cousin, and best friend for so many remained steadfast under trial and received her Crown of Life today. She ran into her Fathers arms at 3pm on Sunday, November 8, 2020. Brenda was born in California, January 25, 1951 and lived there until her later 20s. She came from a family of 10 and was a middle sister of an immediate family with 4 brothers and 1 sister with an additional 2 half-brothers and 2 half-sisters. She loved horses as a child and explored much of her surroundings on horseback. She became a dental hygienist in California in 1976 but settled most of her professional and personal life in the Nashville, Tennessee area. She worked as a dental hygienist in a periodontal office and responsibly served there for over 28 years. Brenda’s love in life was Jesus Christ. Wherever she went she did her upmost to spread the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether it was a first short visit or a long term friendship she had a powerful positive impact on many lives she touched. She would never leave a conversation without saying something positive and affirming for you. She walked in the ministry gifts of mercy and encouragement. She truly was a selfless, loving, patient, wise, bright light for this world. Brenda loved the creative arts and was a beautiful song writer and singer. She was the only white singer in a famous entirely black gospel group for 20 years. She loved theater and shares many theatrical blunders that created a life time of laughter and special memories for all that knew her. Everyone has a Brenda story that leaves you smiling. Her heart of gold is a loss for our world but we celebrate her victorious life she left in each and every one of us lucky enough to have known her. She became an ordained minister by Global Fire Ministries International in 2015. She was an active member of prayer teams in the Nashville area but her life was her ministry. Her quiet time she celebrated at her home and beautiful sanctuary in Ashland City, Tennessee but you would not find her there much as her true calling and motivational love was to head out into her ministry field and touch as many lives as possible. Brenda requested no funeral and due to COVID-19 issues a celebration of her life is TBD. Refer back to this site for updated information.
